"A Painterly Gifting- the talk"
“A Painterly Gifting- the talk” introduces to DoVA and friends an event–A Painterly Gifting– to be held at the Arts Club of Chicago February 28th through March 2nd. During these four days approximately one hundred paintings made by the artist Patrick Chamberlain will be gifted to the attending public. To be a painter it seems one is obliged to paint but having painted, what are the painters obligations with respect to the distribution of their paintings? This event is a response to that question and this talk is by way of an apologia of that response.
