Visiting curator Esteban King will give an overview of contemporary artist books and alternative methods of publications, including a number of which he has collaborated on with and published. King will also discuss a selection of curatorial projects including the most recent XIV FEMSA Biennial Inestimable Chance (Morelia and Pátzcuaro, Michoacán 2020).
Esteban King Álvarez is a researcher, art historian and curator. His work focuses on modern and contemporary art and its relationships with experimental music and literature, and will be visiting Chicago as a consultant and participant in this year’s Lit & Luz Festival.
