"The here and there of Things"
An artist talk with Devin T. Mays hosted by the Open Practice Committee in the Department of Visual Arts.
Devin T. Mays (b. Detroit, MI) uses sculpture, installation, performance and pictures for pleasure. He refers to his practice as a place for things to become Things. Mays has exhibited and performed nationally and internationally. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art at Rice University. Mays lives and works between Galveston and Houston, TX.
