"The Diary of An Encounter Which Seemed to Have Never Happened"
Tongji Philip Qian, Harper-Schmidt Fellow and Collegiate Assistant Professor at DoVA, will present The Diary of An Encounter Which Seemed to Have Never Happened. This talk will discuss fluid interpretations of artist responsibilities, locating and subsequently negotiating with the intersections among rigid "truth," packaged "identity," and time- and location-specific pursuit of "freedom."
