"A Painterly Gifting- the talk"
You are invited to join us for an OPC talk by friend and artist Patrick Chamberlain.
“A Painterly Gifting- the talk” introduces to DoVA and friends an event–A Painterly Gifting– to be held at the Arts Club of Chicago February 28th through March 2nd. During these four days approximately one hundred paintings will be gifted to the attending public. To be a painter it seems one is obliged to paint but having painted, what are the painters obligations with respect to the distribution of their paintings? This event is a response to that question and this talk is by way of an apologia of that response.
