Please join us on Zoom Monday, January 31 at 6pm CST for an OPC talk by Cleveland based artist, Omid Shekari.

Omid Shekari has been an artist in residence at Ox-Bow, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Art OMI, Millay Colony For the Arts, MASS MoCA Studio Program, and Yaddo. His work has been exhibited in the Drawing Center, Akron Art Museum, Marginal Utility Gallery, Pelham Art Center, NADA Art Fair, Gallery Joe, PAFA Museum, Fleisher Art Memorial, Tyler School of Art, Woodmere Art Museum, Greenfield Community College, and the Ohio State University. 

Shekari received his BFA from Soore University in Tehran and an MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He is currently a visiting assistant professor of art at Oberlin College.
