Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago releases the publication for put a bow on it., a catalog that documents and archives the exhibition held at TSA Chicago in early 2025 curated by DoVA alum Frances Lee (MFA 2018) and Maggie Borowitz (Art History PhD alumna).
Through reflections on the project by artist contributors including Jazmine. (DoVA MFA 2019) and a curatorial essay by Frances Lee and Maggie Borowitz, the catalog expands on the research and conversations begun in the gallery and continues to map a visual vocabulary the curators call “girl stuff.”
Participating artists in the 2025 group exhibition include Cecilia Beaven, Sarabeth Dunton, Mari Eastman (DoVA Faculty), Flor Flores, Jazmine., Cydney M. Lewis, Liz McCarthy, Matt Morris, Selina Trepp, and Allison Wade.
